Hans P. Jenssen - "Liverpool Rising" (working title)


The idea, which you will see in a lot of these pictures, was that each subject could write a statement or a quote on a piece of paper that could be included in the picture. This was following up on our discussion of using audio as a companion to the exhibition, but I like the idea of putting what they want to say in the actual image by giving them a pen and paper and asking them to say what they want. For the final sets, it would be what they want to say to or about the capital of culture year. I like placing people in the city, so that you can see they are a part of something more. Perhaps I can use the same location for all subjects, or perhaps shoot each one on a different location relating to the subject itself.
